Lessons learned from traditional offshore energy disciplines can provide important efficiencies in offshore wind. Challenges for foundation, cabling, structural design, and construction activities are being overcome with a wide range of offshore expertise. The panel will discuss prioritizing and addressing the fundamental technical obstacles in offshore wind energy.
